The State Association of Private Security Industry or SAPSI is an association of private security agencies in Kerala. SAPSI represents around two hundred private security agencies, making it the largest association of private security in India. The strength of SAPSI lies in its powerful leadership under the chairmanship of Major Ravi, a former soldier, film director, producer, and actor. Since its formation in July 2020, SAPSI has spread rapidly throughout Kerala. SAPSI established district Committees in all districts, and a 32-member State Committee supports them.
The SAPSI was inaugurated by retiring Superintendent of Police Shri Chacko P.V. who lit the lamp and led the oath as Agni Sakshi. Chacko PV, Salim Kannoli, K Padmarajan, Balram G Menon, Sivankunju, Asokan AP, Regi Mathew, Habib Rahman, KG Vinod Kumar, Muralidhara Kurup, Vidyasagaran, Sajan Joseph, Mathew Varikasseril, Saji MK, Anthony Joshi, Rakesh Mangalasseril and Suku Somaraj are the 17 pillars of SAPSI. One of the country's largest private security agencies, SAPSI has grown into a giant in the industry. The hard work of these seventeen founders led to the organization becoming one of the nation's largest security agencies associations.
The sole purpose of SAPSI is to support and promote the betterment and safety of private security agencies and security guards
